Navigating Change Together: Caroline L. Schroth Appointed Vice-President of FEIBP
LYON, FRANCE — Following the successful conclusion of the 66th Congress of the European Brushware Federation (FEIBP) in Lyon, the federation has officially announced the appointment of Caroline L. Schroth (Rothlaender GmbH) as its new Vice-President.
Bringing extensive industry experience and a clear-sighted vision for the European brush manufacturing and supply community, Schroth steps into the role at a pivotal time for the sector. Her appointment signals a strategic push toward deeper cooperation and actionable innovation as European brushmakers navigate shifting industrial landscapes.
“From Connection to Creation”
Accepting the appointment, Schroth reflected on the foundational ethos of the federation and its vital role during a time of global and structural transformation:
“I still remember and value the strong ideas behind our vision for FEIBP: No man, no country, no federation is an Island. Growing up close to the northern coast, I have always liked the idea of FEIBP as a lighthouse: offering orientation in turbulent waters and helping us navigate change together.”
Highlighting the evolution of the federation over recent years, Schroth emphasized a transition from simple networking to concrete, collaborative progress:
“Over the past years, FEIBP has built a strong European brushware community. Now it is time to move from connection to creation. For me, that means turning these connections into deeper cooperation, shared knowledge, new partnerships, innovation and a stronger European voice for our industry. As Vice-President, I am very happy to work alongside Simon and our Board in shaping this next chapter — and in turning the strength of our community into action.”
A Forward-Looking Board
Schroth’s appointment was met with strong enthusiasm across the federation’s executive board and attending members in Lyon. As the industry faces ongoing adaptations, ranging from raw material dynamics and sustainability mandates to digital manufacturing transformation, leadership rooted in traditional manufacturing expertise and forward-looking vision remains critical.
Brushes, Hairs & Fibres extends its warmest congratulations to Caroline Schroth on her appointment and looks forward to covering her contributions as she helps shape the next chapter of the European brushware industry alongside President Simon and the board.
