Our Legacy
Nawal Publications was founded by Late Mr. Nawal Kishore Sonkar, who established Brushes, Hairs & Fibres in 1997 as the first trade journal dedicated to the Indian brush manufacturing industry and its allied sectors.
At a time when industry-specific information was limited, the publication became an important platform for sharing developments related to brush manufacturing, raw materials, machinery, and global trade.
Under the editorial leadership of S.K. Sonkar, the magazine gained recognition across the industry and was circulated among small, medium, and large brush manufacturing units throughout India.
Over the years, the publication also reached international readers in countries including Belgium, Italy, Germany, France, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, Sri Lanka, and Thailand.
For nearly two decades, the magazine served as a source of industry updates, trade insights, and market information before the print edition concluded in 2015.
Today, the publication is being relaunched in a digital format, continuing its mission of connecting the global brush industry and providing industry information for manufacturers, suppliers, and professionals worldwide.
